Welcome to First Coast Fly Fishing Unlimited

As an avid fly and light tackle fishing  angler in Northeast Florida, my passion for this fine sport has driven me to create this website to offer you some unique services and share my  salty kayak and boating adventures, photos and video’s for your  viewing pleasure.

This includes fishing the Timucuan preserve, Guana, Tolomato, and Matanzas estuaries located in northeast Florida’s Nassau, Duval, St. John’s and Flagler counties.

I specialize in sight fishing for Redfish on the mud flats and creeks during low tide and summer-fall flooded grass flats moon tides. I enjoy teaching complete saltwater fly fishing with turn key service including fly casting lessons, fly tying instruction, guided nature tours with fishing opportunities for Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Jack Crevelle, Ladyfish and more. Plus I will photograph your trip. I will also provide you with photos of your experience at no extra cost. Programs are also available including PowerPoint presentations.

Over the past 6 years I have fished and explored these Jacksonville -St.Augustine home waters with over 300 trips including well over 1200 hours on the water.

Kayak and skiff fishing has given me a special connection with nature and offered me the best opportunities to catch fish and explore our back-country tidal creeks, marshlands and flooded grass flats, often in complete solitude. There is a wide variety of wildlife waiting for you to see.

I take great pleasure and pride in photographing it all. “My Photos” page will tour you through the beauty of what’s there for you to see and give you a good taste of my back-country adventures.

If you are visiting the areas of Amelia Island, Talbot Islands, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Vilano Beach and St. Augustine…come see, learn, and join me for your kayak back to nature and fly and light tackle fishing opportunities in our pristine waterways and wilderness at affordable prices.

I am a part time guide and trips are generally available on weekends, holidays and week day late afternoons depending on season. Please call for other arrangements. Thank you for your interest.

It’s also geared to help educate you with fly and light tackle fishing techniques, fly casting instruction, Kayak rigging, guiding and more.
